Abstract

Electrical energy is a very important requirement for modern human life like today. Because almost all activities carried out by everyone require electrical energy. For example, for recharging a laptop or cellphone battery and also as house lighting when night falls. This research will make PLTS design for a simple house. The design of this PLTS is carried out by observing the location in the Bekasi area, precisely in the village of Gabus Rawa, Srijaya village, North Tambun district, then determining the sun intensity in the area and determining the load requirements to be installed, after which an ideal design is made with the equipment specifications on the market. The results of the review show that the total energy consumption is 300 Wh, with a module power capacity of 80.44 Wp, then a solar panel of 100 Wp is selected, the battery capacity used is based on efficiency and autonomy days is 62.5 Ah, then the selected battery with a capacity 100 Ah. The battery capacity is 100 Ah with a total load current of 6.25 Ah, so the battery can back up the lighting load for 16 hours
