Abstract

The protection system at T 149 Substation working failure when there is a short circuit on the consumer's side, resulting in a CBO PMT (Power Breaker) T 149 Substation trip along with a Koasi Feeder PMT trip. In the design error testing process, the results of the CT calculation have an electric current saturation of 48,000 Ampere so that it is not saturated when a short circuit fault current of 9100 Ampere is applied. In the relay coordination test using the FSC Curve software, the results showed that the timing of the Definite Time curve trip for Moment Over Current for the T149 substation and the Dukuh Atas substation has the same value in 0.2 seconds. Testing of construction errors shows that the components of the protection system are correctly connected to the terminals. Testing for equipment errors shows that the current transformer ratio has an accuracy of above 97
percent, the voltage ratio of the transformer is above 99 percent, while the relay and PMT functions can work properly
