Abstract

Automatic Doors are often found in many places, such as in malls, banks, companies and many other places. Whereas almost every automated door making company uses the same way in terms of how it works. It is necessary to find a solution to get easily maintenance components and inexpensive price. On this study in creating automatic sliding doors by means of Motor D.C. Automatic door design is made with plywood board material, weighing 13 kg. DC motors are used for drive open door shuts. Automatic sliding doors are controlled using Arduino microcontrollers, and PIR. From the result of the calculation it can
be known the magnitude of the torque value in the no-load condition is 0.82 Nm with a power of 1.89 Watts and the magnitude of the torque value with the door load is 5.202 Nm with a power of 11.98 Watts.
